ACM TEI '25 Studio accepted

Together with colleagues from France and Switzerland, Goda Klumbytė and Claude Draude are organizing a studio on 'Tangible LLMs: Tangible Sense-Making For Trustworthy Large Language Models' at the ACM International Conference on Tangible, Embedded and Embodied Interaction (TEI).

The studio explores the potential of 'tangible AI', giving physical form to artificial intelligence, to improve understanding and confidence in transformer-based models such as Large Language Models (LLMs). Through hands-on activities, the studio will explore how tangible interaction techniques can demystify key LLM mechanisms such as input/output embedding, positional coding and self-awareness. Participants will engage in brainstorming and prototyping sessions to develop tangible/touchable interfaces to help users better understand how LLMs make predictions.

The ACM TEI will take place from March 4-7, 2025 in Bordeaux, France. The deadline for the studio is March 4. More information about the conference can be found on the website. A more detailed description of the studio can be found on the studio website.
