Research assistants / PhD students

The Department of Vehicle Systems and Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering is constantly on the lookout for suitable research assistants to work on current issues in the field of the generation, distribution and use of electrical energy in vehicles. This results in key topics in the areas of measurement, characterization, optimization and validation of storage systems, sources, distribution networks and consumers. The focus is on questions relating to the efficient use of energy, electrical, electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical behavior and the reliability of vehicle systems such as batteries, on-board networks and drive systems, including in the context of the increasing use of electromobility.

The recruitment requirements are an above-average degree (Master's, Diploma) in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, physics or a similar field of study.
