Content:

The practical course provides an insight into the broad field of vehicle systems engineering. Using selected topics as examples, the student is introduced to individual systems.

Tasks will be worked on the following topics

• Introduction to Controller Area Network (CAN),
• Programming and commissioning of a CAN node
• Measurement/modeling on/of vehicle components

Target group:

Students of electrical engineering in the main study period (5th semester).

Scope:

2 SWS practical course (3 lab days), 4 CP

Dates:

The internship takes place in the winter and summer semester. Dates by arrangement.

One paper per experiment and group
Technical discussion after completion of the practical course.

ATTENTION: When taking the practical course in energy technology in the field of mobile energy systems (EntP1-M), the module practical course vehicle systems can no longer be chosen as an elective module!
