The computer science courses include a project work in the 5th/6th semester. Our department offers special courses for this (see teaching of the respective semester). As an alternative, it is possible to write an individual thesis on the listed topics, partly with direct reference to the current research of the department. In addition, some of the topics intended for diploma/bachelor theses can be modified to make them suitable for a project thesis.
Project work should be done in groups of at least two students. The theses can serve as a basis for further diploma or bachelor/master theses.
