In order to contribute to the existing energy crisis, IES has implemented an energy-saving mode for our computing cluster. Computing nodes on which no jobs are running will be shut down completely from now on in order to save energy. If more computing capacity is needed, the machines are started automatically. In the next step, the computing power of GPU accelerator cards will be reduced without drastically affecting performance.
