Europe as a Planetary Laboratory

The Berggruen Institute has established a European presence with the purchase of a historic palazzo from the Fondazione di Venezia. The newly opened Berggruen Institute Europe is designed to connect the work of the Los Angeles and Beijing sites and create an environment that fosters a more open and constructive dialogue between Chinese leaders and the West. There are several events planned to mark the launch of the European Berggruen site, including panel discussions moderated by Prof. Dr. Mi You.
