New release: "Geteilte Arbeitswelten. Konflikte um Migration und Arbeit"

Edited volume by Anne Lisa Carstensen et al.

What does migration mean for the world of work? Why do migrants often have to work under particularly precarious conditions? How can struggles against labour exploitation, racism, social cuts and environmental destruction be combined? In the wake of the pandemic and an increased demand for migrant labour, these questions have become even more urgent. This volume brings together new empirical and analytical perspectives on research into labour and migration. The contributions deal with the German-speaking world and also include transnational perspectives.
