The lecture series examines the relationship between sustainability debates and the embedded gender constructions and gender relations from various professional perspectives. We address, among other things, the relationship between production and reproduction, as well as the relationship between gender and work. The series also explores the approaches of gender-oriented sustainability research, ecofeminism, and environmental intersectional justice, and asks what characterizes the “grammar of sustainability.” The series concludes with a panel discussion and a keynote speech by Christa Wichterich.
