In the spring of 2017 the department for structural design organized an excursion to Greece. Besides Athens, Corinth, Acrocorinth, Epidaurus, Nafplio, Tiryns, Mycenae and Delphi were visited. In particular, the rich ancient heritage was the subject of various visits; complemented by some contemporary buildings. The documenta 14, which took place this year both in Kassel and in Athens, was also a destination of the trip.
