Anna has been part of the TWE team since December 2024. Here she works on strategies for repurposing obsolete building typologies from a structural perspective. She studied civil engineering at the Bauhaus University Weimar and at the TU Braunschweig. She then worked at the Institute for Load-bearing Structures and Constructive Design (ITKE) at the University of Stuttgart. Here she worked on the development of an integrative timber construction system for multi-storey buildings and took on teaching activities in the ‘Integrative Technologies and Architectural Design Research programme (ITECH)’. In February 2024, she completed her Dr.-Ing. on the topic of ‘Integrative Structural Design for a co-designed Multi-Storey Timber Building System’.
