Nomination of the "LegalWriter" project for the Delina LEARNTEC Innovation Award 2025

The project "LegalWriter - AI-supported learning system to promote legal writing skills" from the University of Kassel and Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH has been nominated in the top 3 for the delina innovation award for digital education in the university category. The winners will be announced in June.

In "LegalWriter", Thiemo Wambsganß (Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH), Prof. Dr. Matthias Söllner (University of Kassel) and Florian Weber (University of Kassel) have developed a learning tool that offers law students individual support in writing structured and convincing legal texts based on artificial intelligence methods. The aim of the project is to sustainably support law students through intelligent writing support.

The system is currently being successfully evaluated at the University of Hamburg and is already impressively demonstrating its effectiveness in legal higher education. The nomination recognizes the researchers' commitment to advancing digital learning solutions in the field of law.
