Part-time with 3/4 of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for a further 2 years (qualification position according to § 72 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.
Tasks:
- Independent work on a research sub-area in the field of Customer Experience Management or Transformative Consumer Behavior (e.g. customer journey design and consumer happiness in offline and online shopping or the influence of sustainable consumer behavior on consumer well-being) as part of a doctorate
- Scientific services in the research areas of the Marketing department: including initiating and collaborating on research projects (e.g. collaboration in the development and application of third-party funded projects), participation in the organization of scientific conferences or seminars, collaboration in the implementation of transfer projects (e.g. workshops, training courses, market research projects) with practice partners from the industrial, retail and service sectors) as well as participation in publications and active participation in international scientific congresses and symposia
- Supporting the department in the area of teaching
- Collaboration in general work of the department
Prerequisites:
- A university degree (Master's) in business administration or economics with a major in marketing or social, communication or market psychology, completed with very good grades. The required degree must be available by the recruitment date at the latest.
- Interest and enthusiasm for the above-mentioned areas of work / research (Customer Experience Management and / or Transformative Consumer Behavior)
- Ability to understand and think through complex interrelationships
- An independent, reliable and careful way of working
- Initiative and creativity / resourcefulness
- very good knowledge of German and English
- Very good knowledge of multivariate statistics
- Ability to work in a team and cooperate
- Communication skills and flexibility
Advantageous are
- initial experience in the (independent) implementation of empirical (especially experimental) studies
- Initial experience in knowledge transfer (e.g. through tutoring)
- Knowledge of the software packages MAXQDA, SPSS, Smart PLS, AMOS or LISREL
