The paper titled "Adaptive Empathy Learning Support in Peer Review Scenarios" by Thiemo Wambsganss, Matthias Söllner, Ken Koedinger and Jan Marco Leimeister was accepted at the prestigious ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing (CHI2022). The paper was produced as part of a project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) as a collaboration between the University of St.Gallen, the University of Kassel and Carnegie Mellon University. The researchers showed for the first time how an innovative approach combined of learner-centered design, natural language processing, and machine learning can be used to promote cognitive and emotional empathy skills in students in a scalable way. 

The ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI) is the most prestigious conference in the field of human-computer interaction. It will be held this year in New Orleans, USA from April 29 to May 05, 2022 after a two-year corona break hybrid.
