Part of the WISE team presented and discussed their current research at this year's International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) in Copenhagen, Denmark. The ICIS is the world's largest conference on information systems and was held this year under the motto "Digitization for the Next Generation" from December 11 to 14.

During the conference, Prof. Matthias Söllner was awarded the AIS Award for "Innovation in Teaching", which recognizes the continuous use of innovative learning systems in several courses at different universities.

Furthermore, the WISE team participated in the "SIG Green - Green IS" and "SIG ED - Education" workshops. At the SIG Green workshop, a paper entitled "Collaboration Engineering and Citizen Science for Mastering Sustainability Challenges" was presented. In the SIG ED workshop, the research group focused on emotion-adaptive systems that can contribute to the learning of so-called transferable skills (title of the presentation: "Emotion-Adaptive Learning Systems for Transferable Skill Learning").

In addition to the conference program, the WISIC team was able to explore Copenhagen and visit the local Christmas market.
