Third joint meeting of WÖRLD at the University of Kassel

Under the leadership of Prof. Klusmeyer, the Wörld project community met on July 11 and 12, 2024. Wörld project community for the third joint conference at the University of Kassel. The two-day event provided a platform for intensive discussions and forward-looking impulses in the field of teacher training.

The contributions by Dr. Julia Jennek and Dr. Luisa Scherzinger from the competence network were particularly enlightening learning:digitalwho provided insights into the diverse activities of the transfer office. Further inspiration was provided by the keynote speeches from Markus Hammele (wirlernenonline.de) and Dietmar Hefendahl (hubbs.schule), who, as practitioners of OER platforms, contributed valuable perspectives on quality assurance. The team of the sub-project "DiWiBe" - Understanding and teaching the digitalization of business and commercial professions" was represented by the two locations University of Kassel (Prof. Dr. Michael Goller) and TU Munich (Prof. Dr. Manuel Förster) - were represented.

An important aspect of the conference was the presentation of the evaluation results of the innovative WÖRLD House, which were lively discussed by the project members. In dynamic working groups, the participants then focused on the further development of publication formats and the development of future strategies for the individual projects and for the entire network.

The conference not only provided space for professional exchange, but also promoted networking among the participants. The event ended with a wealth of new ideas and strengthened collaborations, marking an important milestone in the further development of the Wörld project halfway through the project.
