2 student assistants (m/f/d) for the establishment of a Maker Space at the Department of Work Studies

The Department of Labor Studies is looking for two student assistants to set up and supervise an innovative Maker Space.

Tasks:

• Setting up and designing the Maker Space: setting up, organizing and commissioning equipment and workstations.
• Instruction of students: Introduction to the use of equipment (e.g. 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC milling machines).
• Maintaining and servicing equipment: Ensuring that equipment is operational and carrying out minor repairs.
• Organize and conduct workshops: Designing and implementing practical training courses and projects.
  

What you should bring with you:

• Technical interest and basic knowledge: Ideally initial experience with maker technologies (e.g. 3D printing, laser cutting, Arduino, etc.).
• Creativity and initiative: Enjoy contributing and implementing new ideas.
• Team and communication skills: You enjoy working with others and can communicate content in an understandable way.
• Ability to work independently: Organized and reliable working style.
• Flexibility: Willingness to conduct workshops and training courses at different times.
