The 28th Workshop on IT, Service, Innovation and Collaboration (WISIC) took place as an off-site event in St. Ottilien from November 5 to 7, 2024. The aim of the doctoral seminar, in which doctoral candidates from the University of St. Gallen and the University of St. Gallen took part, was to promote exchange between the chairs and provide new impetus for dissertation projects.

A total of 20 Doctoral candidates presented their research topics in various formats adapted to their individual doctoral progress. Intensive discussions with other participants, Professors and postdocs enabled constructive feedback and new perspectives for the further development of the projects.

A special element of the workshop was the postdoc panel, which focused on the transition from the doctoral phase to taking on responsibility as a postdoc, including insights into career development opportunities.

The workshop offered participants the opportunity for professional development and promoted cooperation between the participating chairs.
