Dr Annika Mies was awarded the science award for outstanding dissertations by the Faculty of Economics and Ma­nage­ment at the University of Kassel for her dissertation on "Transforming towards a sustainable circular economy: exploring the social dimension, actor contribution and emerging paradoxes" .

The science awards were presented during the Doctoral Researcher Day on 9 November 2023 and the subsequent ceremonial presentation of the doctoral certificates for the class of 2022/2023.
