About me  (Dr. Sofia Brenner)

I am a postdoctoral researcher at University of Kassel, working in the Discrete Mathematics group led by Torsten Mütze. From 2022 to 2024, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Pascal Schweitzer at TU Darmstadt. From 2019 to 2022, I was a PhD student of Burkhard Külshammer at Friedrich Schiller University Jena.

I am interested in research topics at the intersection of group theory and combinatorics. During my PhD, I worked in representation theory of finite groups and symmetric algebras. As a postdoctoral researcher, I became interested in topics in combinatorics and algebraic graph theory. I also work on projects in theoretical computer science.
