On 24.1.22 the first baking campaign with heterogeneous wheat populations(https://www.weizenvielfalt.de/news/) starts in the BÖLN project BAKWERT. 14 partner bakeries from Hanover to Würzburg to Munich bake diverse delicacies from population flour under the motto "Pop-Kruste"(www.pop-kruste.de). The "Pop-Kruste" is a transdisciplinary joint effort of science, agriculture, milling and baking trades. The baking campaign investigates the acceptance of the innovative approach of population breeding along the entire organic value chain.
