"Competition Among Universities" was the title of a special session organized by Guido Buenstorf at the International Joseph A. Schumpeter Society Conference held at the University of Gothenburg on June 9-11,
2024. Based on key results from our Research Group and commentaries by international experts Anders Broström (University of Gothenburg) and Lionel Nesta (Université Côte d'Azur), the session explored the multidimensional nature of competition among universities and how it relates to scientific progress, technological innovation and the academic labor market.
