Lea Ellen Matthiessen

Lea is a PhD student from the UCPH team affiliated to the perspective Diet in the SysOrg project. In her PhD study, she analyses the food system with a focus on healthy and sustainable diets considering both the roles of consumers and food service providers. Lea uses a systems thinking approach and aims to identify the relationships between diet and various components that negatively or positively influence our food choices ("feedback loops"). Lea holds a Master's degree in Food Technology from the Technical University of Denmark (2021) and a Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences and Home Economics from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (2015).
