Congratulations! Daniel Klein wins Stata Journal Editors’ Prize 2020

The award recognizes two outstanding STATA articles by Daniel Klein: “Implementing a general framework for assessing interrater agreement in Stata“. Stata Journal 18: 871–901; and: „Extensions to the label commands“. Stata Journal 19: 867–882.

In their prize announcement the editors write: „If there is a challenging label problem, it usually turns out that he has solved it already or can suggest a new solution from his extensive experience.“ (The Stata Journal (2020)20, Number 4, pp. 759–762).

Daniel Klein has been researcher at INCHER-Kassel from 2017 to 2020, lately in the BUKKS project focusing on social inequalities and consequences of higher education dropout together with Shweta Mishra and Lars Müller. In autumn 2020 Daniel changed to the chair for Health Studies at the University of Kassel.

His research interests include social inequality, theoretical models of decisions, and  quantitative methods of empirical social research and econometrics.
