Bologna since 2010

The Department of Studies and Teaching supports the implementation of the goals of the Europe-wide Bologna process at the University of Kassel. This includes the development of content-related and legal foundations for the implementation, advising the departments on the Bologna-compliant conversion or new establishment of study programs, the preparation of resolutions of the committees as well as the support of the accreditation procedures.

All relevant principles and resolutions as well as projects and further texts on the Bologna process in Europe can be found on the HRK website.

Resolutions

Senate resolution on the Bologna process after 2010: On November 4, 2009, the Senate resolved to support the continuation of the Bologna process after 2010. The reforms begun at the University of Kassel are to be continued with special consideration of the criticism of the tiered courses of study and the experiences, some of which have been problematic. Above all, the process of quality assurance is to be advanced. A very important aspect, however, is also the studyability, the equivalence of the study programs, the associated mobility as well as the inclusion of the social dimension.
