Trust in Models" workshop at BASE in Berlin

Reliable numerical simulations are essential for model-based safety studies in nuclear waste management. Especially when it comes to making safety decisions based on model results and gaining public participation.

It was precisely these topics that were the focus of the "Trust in Models" workshop on 13 and 14.03.24.

Fabian Fritsch, scient. Fabian Fritsch, research associate at our department, was part of this workshop with his presentation on the topic: "Assessment of human reliability in modeling", in which a medium-term collection of "best practices" for the trustworthiness of modeling was compiled.

The third workshop in the series is already planned.
