Subject area represented at 3 international conferences
The PMDT department will be represented at three international specialist conferences in 2023 with its own scientific contributions. Participation in these conferences is important in several respects: Firstly, our own scientific findings are presented there and discussed with a specialist audience of internationally relevant researchers. On this basis, specialist contributions can be made even more robust and ideally subsequently published. Secondly, the specialist conferences offer an important space for exchange with international colleagues from the same field of research. This in turn regularly leads to new collaborations and projects. Thirdly, the conferences also provide an opportunity to make the University of Kassel's research internationally visible and accessible to a wide range of institutions.
We will be represented at 2023:
1st European Academy of Management (EURAM) Conference at Trinitiy College Dublin
In the project management stream of the conference, Timo Braun will present results from a German-Swedish cooperation project (together with Jörg Sydow, Eskil Ekstedt and Rolf Lundin) on the topic: "Mitigating the relational dynamics of inter-organizational projects? Managing stability and change in face of digital tool adoption".
2nd European Group for Organization Studies (EGOS) Colloquium at the University of Cagliari
At this conference Timo Braun presents the joint contribution with Jörg Sydow on the topic: "Exploring the relational dynamics of inter-organizational projects: Governing stability and change in face of digital tool adoption". The conference paper sheds light on the influence of digital project management tools on the structures and processes of inter-organizational collaboration between companies in projects.
3rd British Academy of Management (BAM) Conference at the University of Sussex
At this annual conference, which takes place at different locations in the UK, Jörg Sydow presents a joint paper with Timo Braun on the topic "Responsibilities of Project Management Offices (PMO) beyond organizational boundaries - Still a blind spot for organizational design?".
