Last Tuesday, our department welcomed managers in the field of project and innovation management from 25 companies in the Kassel area. The "Business & Beer" event took place in a relaxed after-work atmosphere in the boathouse of the University of Kassel. After a brief introduction of the newly aligned department by Prof. Dr. Timo Braun and an impulse for the professionalization of project management, an interactive workshop in World Café format followed. Here, the managers were able to contribute their own ideas:

1. Needs for the establishment of project management training and certification,
2. exchange platforms and networking opportunities for project management in the Kassel area,
3. future topics of innovative and transformative project management.

The interactive format not only proved to be very productive in terms of content, but also opened up scope for follow-up activities, some of which have already been agreed with the participating companies and individuals - for example, cooperation in teaching. In the spirit of "local buzz", the PMDT department would like to work closely with regional companies and thereby strengthen the region.
