We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Bowen Zou has joined our team as a PhD candidate in September 2023. Bowen earned his Bachelor's degree from Jilin University in China and his Master's degree from RWTH Aachen University in Germany, showcasing a robust academic foundation in materials science and engineering. Following a two-year experience in the automotive industry, Bowen has chosen to advance his research career with us.

In his new role, Bowen will be contributing to the DFG project, focusing on the development of high-performance, low-carbon, nanostructured bainitic steels. This endeavor will be in collaboration with esteemed colleagues from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). We are confident in Bowen's abilities and eagerly anticipate his academic contributions. We also wish him a fulfilling and enjoyable life in Kassel!
