Teacher training in Kassel: Find out more at the Uni Special-Week

On Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 6 p.m., Carolena Papanikolau and Oliver Claves will explain to viewers everything they want to know about studying to become a teacher at the University of Kassel during a live consultation hour. Oliver Claves is a student advisor and Carolena Papanikolau coordinates the student advisory service for teacher training at the University of Kassel. Interested parties can stream the event on the Instagram channel @werdelehrerinhessen and ask the two of them questions live or in advance.

"We need well-trained and competent teachers in Hesse now and in the future. The teacher training program at the University of Kassel combines excellent theoretical training with a high practical component. We are therefore very much looking forward to all questions from prospective students, whether about the structure of the course, the practical experience at school or the support provided by the teaching staff. Individual considerations, such as under what circumstances the teaching profession might be the right choice, can also be discussed at the event," says Carolena Papanikolau.

The Uni Special Week is part of the Hessian Ministry of Education's "The future needs YOU" campaign, which aims to get young people interested in the teaching profession and studying to become a teacher in Hesse with various advice and information offers.
