Mobility, Transport and Infrastructure (Master)

Transportation is booming, and in-depth knowledge of the link between planning, technical, economic and ecological contexts is becoming increasingly important. The three-semester master's program "Mobility, Transport and Infrastructure" offers just that for bachelor's graduates who want to delve more intensively into their subject.

Integrated transport planning with the subject areas of mobility management, traffic management and infrastructure planning as well as the design, dimensioning, construction and operation of transport infrastructure are complex tasks which, in addition to specific specialist knowledge, require general knowledge of transport and, in particular, the ability to understand and evaluate interrelationships between the specific subject areas. Against this background, the master's degree program "Mobility, Transport and Infrastructure" is designed to expand the subject-specific knowledge acquired in the first degree program with additional interdisciplinary technical and methodological knowledge and to supplement it with current findings and developments in transport.
Students can specialize in two of the following areas: integrated transport planning, public transport, cycling and local mobility, road space design, transport infrastructure and traffic engineering.
