Girls Day
The „Girls´ Day“ at the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
The University of Kassel has participated in the nationwide Girls' Day for many years. In many scientific - technical areas of the University of Kassel, actions are offered every year.
In 2015, the Department of Electrical Engineering/Computer Science officially offered places for the "Girls' Future Day" in three areas for the first time in cooperation with the Women's and Equal Opportunity Office of the University of Kassel. In 2016, 50 girls have already participated in seven areas. The Girls' Days were great successes. Our topics ranged from "Handy Hunting - Find your cell phone!" to "Climate change and water resources in the 21st century" and "Cryptography - the science of secret messages."
This year, Girls' Day will be held at the University of Kassel for schoolgirls in 5th grade and above.
Girls' Day at the University of Kassel will take place on April 27, 2023 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm in Präsenz.
