Our student services should help students to simplify organizational tasks and to get acquainted with the living conditions in Kassel soon. The services comprise a support to find accommodation in Kassel and a German language course.

Following websites help you with finding accomodation. Basically, the earlier you apply, the more likely it is to obtain accomodation.

Please note, that you can apply for accomodation in a student hall at University of Kassel as soon as you intend to study in Kassel. The application for a student hall is non-binding.

The German language is a key for getting familiar with your environment. Also, upon graduation, many students take up employment in Germany. So there are many reasons why a German language course is compulsory for students not speaking German. Note that the course is free of charge. A German language course at our campus in Wilhelmshöher Allee 73 for beginners up to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) level A1 is part of the ECE curriculum (“Social Communication” module), which is offered each semester.
