On August 20, Prof. Ching-Jan Chen visited the Department of Power Electronics in Kassel. Prof. Chen teaches at the National Taiwan University in Taipei. His research focuses on power IC design, power converters and modeling and control of power electronic systems. Contact with him was established through the penultimate IEEE IFEC student competition (IFEC 2023, energychallenge.weebly.com/ifec-2023.html ), in which Jens Friebe (General Chair) and Ching-Jan Chen (Financial Chair) were active. The department is very pleased about this contact and is also looking forward to welcoming enthusiastic students for an exchange.
