The concept "comprehensive factory" describes the integration more technically, more economically, umweltlicher, juridical and social perceptions in factory planning and factory. The "comprehensive factory" is a new main research of the mechanical engineering FB. She connects both fields of investigation of the comprehensive balance and the factory simulation. The simulation platform illustrates model a factory and her whole process chain. The user is accompanied with the celebration and control of the factory by interactive, virtual employees (Avatare). These animate the factory and give assistances. Students can test the bases compiled in the lectures and deepen in which they carry out updates and simulations within the processes with the help of practical duties and become clear therefore directly the effects of her decisions.
