How to start the master's program

• Graduates from the University of Kassel who have obtained a bachelor’s degree in computer science can apply to the master's course without ado.

• Graduates who have obtained a degree in computer science from another German university or abroad must first check the prerequisites at our department.

According to the examination regulations § 8, each student has to choose a mentor at the beginning of the study and has to compile an individual study plan. The study plan has to be submitted to the mentor for approval, at the latest 4 weeks after the start of the course. After the mentor has approved the study plan, it has to be submitted to the study service.
