Requirements for Application

The following documents have to be submited, when applying for our courses and exams:

  • DSH-Training Courses (Online intensive course as training for the DSH exam, individual events in presence possible)
    • Con­di­tio­nal Ad­mis­si­on from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Kas­sel for the next possible semester
    • German certificate (Goethe certificate C1, telc German C1) on level C1 or confirmation of succesful participation in a German course completing C1
    • in exceptional cases a certificate and/or a confirmation of a completed course on level B2
  • written DSH Exam
    • Con­di­tio­nal Ad­mis­si­on from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Kas­sel for the next possible semester
    • German certificate (Goethe certificate C1, telc German C1) on level C1 or confirmation of succesful participation in a German course completing C1
    • in exceptional cases a certificate and/or a confirmation of a completed course on level B2
  • Entrance Test C1 (obligatory for participting in the study and DSH preparatory German courses)
    • Con­di­tio­nal Ad­mis­si­on from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Kas­sel for the next possible semesterr 
    • German certificate (Goethe certificate, telc German) on level B2 or confirmation of succesful participation in a German course completing B2 with at least 800 hours German lessons
    • Proof of the completion and succesful participation in the B2 level, grades in listening, reading, speaking, writing and grammar have to be inlcuded in the document (e.g. Goethe-Institut or telc); confirmations of participation without grades are not accepted, TestDaF (TDN levels 3 and 4) or a DSH 1 certificate are also accepted.
  • Study and DSH preparatory German courses C1
    • successful participation in obligatory entrance test C1
  • Entrance Test B2 (obligatory for participting in the study preparatory German courses)
    • Current con­di­tio­nal Ad­mis­si­on from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Kas­sel
    • German certificate (Goethe certificate, telc German) on level B1 or confirmation of succesful participation in a German course completing B1 with at least 600 hours German lessons
    • Proof of the completion and succesful participation in the B1 level, grades in listening, reading, speaking, writing and grammar have to be inlcuded in the document (e.g. Goethe-Institut or telc); confirmations of participation without grades are not accepted, TestDaF (TDN level 3) certificate is also accepted.
  • Study preparatory German courses B2
    • successful participation in obligatory entrance test B2
