Methodological Consultation for Employees

The staff of the department offers a regular consultation hour for individual methodological advice. The offer is exclusively directed to employees of the Institute of Psychology. External doctoral students in a subject area of the IfP can make use of the consultation if they are officially registered on the doctoral student list of the department. Students can make use of the consultation (e.g. for theses) together with the supervisor or contact the student method consultation.

Possible topics include:

Interpretation of statistical findings
Implementation of statistical models
Dealing with estimation problems
Research design issues (e.g., power analyses)
Ideas for efficient data preparation
