Shortly before the end of each semester, students from all singing classes are given the opportunity to perform a piece in the concert hall or in the Gießhaus.

In the SPOTLIGHT lecture series (an interdisciplinary lecture series in music education and aesthetic education), experts from the arts, culture and science are invited to discuss topics of aesthetic practice.

At the end of each semester, the IfM student council organizes an end-of-semester concert, or SAK for short.

Students regularly present their latest compositions at the Composers Open Stage.

The Musical Advent Calendar is intended to bring a piece of Advent into everyday university life and all students and employees of the University of Kassel and all interested parties are invited to linger and listen.

The musical coffee break is intended to offer the opportunity to take a short break, enjoy musical games and, of course, drink coffee together while chatting!

The format provides a framework for informal discussion of various topics related to both classical and jazz-pop theory/music practice.
