Diversity Week 2023 in Department 02 - November 6-10.

Diversity Week (06.11-10.11.2023)

Supported by the special fund "Structural Equal Opportunities", Diversity Week will take place in Faculty 02 in the week of November 6-10, 2023, to which we would like to invite all students, academic staff, members of the university, teachers and other interested parties!

You can expect a diverse range of events such as workshops in German and English, a panel discussion, a reading and a religious education and theology study day followed by a film evening. In addition, there is the opportunity to take part in various courses from the current range of courses, which open up spaces for discussion on topics such as gender equality, ableism and racism as part of Diversity Week.

The aim of the events is to make existing gender equality work and offers visible, to network different specialist perspectives and to reflect on the existing need for action. In line with the goals of the University of Kassel's development plan, the aim is to contribute to the sustainable anchoring of the topic of gender equality, which should contribute to the desired diversity-oriented and gender-equitable cultural change.
