Diversity Week 2023 in Department 02 - November 6-10.

Diversity Week (06.11-10.11.2023)

Supported by the special fund "Structural Equal Opportunity", the Diversity Week will take place in the Department 02 in the week of November 06-10, 2023, to which we would like to cordially invite all students, academic staff, members of the university, teaching staff and other interested parties!

You can expect a multifaceted offer of different events such as workshops in German and English, a panel discussion, a reading and a religious pedagogical-theological study day followed by a film evening. In addition, there is the possibility to participate in various courses of the current teaching offer, which, in the context of the Diversity Week , open up discussion spaces for exchange on topics such as gender justice, rejectionism and racism.

The offers aim at making visible already existing equality work and offers, the networking of different subject perspectives, but also a reflection of the existing need for action. In accordance with the goals of the development plan of the University of Kassel, a contribution is to be made in this way to the sustainable anchoring of the topic of equality, which should contribute to the desired diversity-oriented and gender-just cultural change.
