Subject Area "Higher Eduation Research"

The Subject Area of Higher Education Research is concerned with higher education and studies and their embedding in social contexts as well as with topics at the interfaces to related research areas such as science research, organization and innovation research.

The Subject Area is represented by the Chair of Higher Education Research (currently occupied by PD Dr. Otto Hüther as a deputy professor). At the same time, the holder of the professorship is involved in the collegial management of the International Centre for Higher Education Research (INCHER) at the University of Kassel.
