Kristina Bayer, Dr. born 1964, studied social sciences at the Humboldt University of Berlin.

Since the early 1990s, research on social movements and solidarity economy in Brazil. Since 2000, development of cooperative projects in Berlin with a focus on alternative energy supply, communal living and urban gardens. Since 2007 research and consulting on Solidarity Economy in a regional context (focus on Northern Hesse) at the University of Kassel. Consultant for cooperatives and participation processes.
