Future Frontiers
Frontier magazine is a new project conceived by the Art and Culture Development Foundation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Its aim is to initiate international and interdisciplinary dialogue between artists, designers, and academics from Uzbekistan and worldwide.
The magazine will be available in print in English, while the online version will have two additional versions in Uzbek and in Russian.
On November 19, Frontier’s editor-in-chief Furqat Palvan-Zade will present the concept of the magazine and the three upcoming issues planned by its editorial team and contributors.
The Tashkent film festival of Asia, Africa and Latin America, which was active from the late 60s to the late 80s, will be the main investigation of one of the first issues of Frontier magazine.
The conversation will focus on the history of the Tashkent film festival and will include a Q&A with future collaborators and partners of the publication.
