The International House invites you to visit Solar Technologie AG SMA on Thursday, 14 November 2024. The meeting point is at the Holländischer Platz stop at 14:00.

SMA Technology AG was founded in 1981 as an independent company from the University of Kassel with the idea of developing and producing intelligent computer-based control systems for decentralised energy supply.

With over 40 years of expertise in the development and production of system technology for photovoltaic, wind energy and combined energy generation systems, constant product improvements and the use of completely new technologies, SMA is regarded as a trendsetter in the solar industry.

SMA Technology AG, headquartered in Niestetal, Germany, with subsidiaries in 20 countries worldwide, currently employs more than 4,300 people and generated sales of over € 1,904 million in the 2023 financial year.

After a general presentation, there will be a factory tour of production in building 70.
