Zur Person

Svenja Quitsch is a doctoral researcher with a focus on post-growth ideas and international organizations. Having studied in the Netherlands and the United States, she holds a B.A. degree in liberal arts and a double-degree in public policy and human development from the United Nations University (UNU-MERIT) and Maastricht Graduate School of Governance. Svenja is particularly interested in interdisciplinary research on sustainability, transformation and climate change. Before joining Kassel University, Svenja worked in governmental as well as non-governmental organizations on development cooperation, international affairs and foreign cultural policy. She is also a trained conflict mediator and experienced civil society consultant.
