The climate adapted city
The aim of the lecture is for students to gain knowledge about applied urban climatology and the resulting requirements for planning and design tasks against the background of climate change. The lecture will introduce major causes and effects of urban climate as well as relevant climate impacts and adaptation measures. The basics will be complemented by practical examples and lecture hall exercises.
