Within the seminar, small-scale design concepts for a qualitative upgrading of the campus area are to be developed and formulated, whereby a positive contribution for people and the environment is in the foreground. The focus is on the use of clay as a building material, taking into account context-specific as well as sustainable aspects of construction and load-bearing technology with high architectural quality. In the following summer semester [summer semester 2024], a real-life implementation will take place based on this in order to test the theoretically developed content in practice through direct craftsmanship with the material.
