In cooperation with Ain Shams University, a nine-day excursion to Cairo was organised in November with Master's students under the direction of Dr Ahmed Bakry and Dr Mohamed ElGamal. The group worked on topics focussing on ‘Urban Informality in Transition’ and visited the World Urban Forum on ‘Local Actions for Sustainable Cities and Communities’, which is convened by the United Nations.
