Office of the Dean

The Office of the Dean is the central administrative and coordination office of the faculty. The Dean and Vice Dean (deputy) are elected by the Faculty Council and manage the faculty. They are supported by the Office of the Dean and the Dean's Representative. The Dean of Studies ensures the quality and proper course of studies.

  • Supervision and management of the academic self-administration bodies (faculty council, committees)
  • Planning and monitoring the range of courses offered
  • Organisation of the academic examinations for Bachelor, Master, doctorate, habilitation and artistic qualification (information, advice, registration and degree procedures)
  • HR (participation in recruitment, placement and upgrading, promotion, dismissal; forwarding of appointment proposals)
  • Budgetary matters (approval of business trips and excursions, procurement applications, allocation of budget funds, management)

Dean, Vice Dean, Dean of Studies

The Dean and Vice-Dean (deputy) are the heads of the faculty. The Dean of Studies ensures the quality and proper conduct of studies. All are elected by the Faculty Council for a term of three years.
