In addition to the Welcome Week in person in October, the International Office is also offering a Pre-Arrival Online Week for international students for the first time.This will take place from 9 to 12 September 2024 via Zoom and in English.

The aim is to give international students admitted for the winter semester 2024/25 the opportunity to clarify important questions in advance and to introduce them to offers and contact persons. They will also have the opportunity to exchange initial contact details with their fellow students online.

Besides that, a Late-Arrival Meeting is planned for the beginning of November. The target group are international students who will not be able to arrive in Kassel on time due to visa delays and who as a consequence will miss the Welcome Week in October .
